We were appointed by the Football Foundation to develop the structure and financial modelling (business planning, phasing of capital, lifecycle, VAT and tax) for their Football Hubs Programme scheme, originally called Parklife. This included Sheffield, Liverpool and Sunderland (which are now open) and facilities in Newcastle, Wigan, Leeds and Derby.
As a result, we worked on re-structure the scheme which included developing a national operator (Leisure United) to manage the hub sites.
