We were appointed to support the Football Foundation in the development of pipeline of future Hub sites for eight local authorities. This involved undertaking a needs assessment for each authority, key stakeholder consultation, facility mix recommendation alongside our design team Abacus Cost Management and Leisure United, development of a Programme of Use and pricing policy and a 10-year business plan.
Following the findings of the study, we recommended a solution for the Local Authority which ranged from a Football Hub solution, a Football Foundation application or single site applications.
Five of the locations are now in various stages of development, including Wealden Community Sports Hub which is being constructed.
