As Rubicon Leisure transferred out from its local authority, FMG worked with the top tier of managers and the Board of non-executive directors to prepare and support them in new ways of working. This included corporate staff as well as managers from sports facilities, theatre, museum and outdoor activity sites.

As well as 1-1 mentoring and coaching, FMG provided guidance and support to the board on roles and responsibilities, governance arrangements, board meetings and reporting.

FMG also worked with the partner local authority to ensure the partnership was robust and the vision and values of the new company were shared by all stakeholders.
