Ashfield District Council Services – Management Solutions

We successfully delivered a procurement process in 2020 which improved the Council’s management fee from an annual subsidy of £650,000 to a management fee payment by the operator to the Council £402,000, as well as increasing participation by more than 500,000 visits per annum. This has enabled the Council to proceed with a new flagship leisure centre (due to open in April 2022) and an extension to another leisure centre. It also provided ring fenced annual funding for active communities programming targeting specific hard to reach groups in the area. FMG are currently retained in Ashfield providing general support on the contract mobilisation.
