FMG Consulting, in collaboration with Progress Health Partnerships, recently completed the first two stages of the Beau Sejour Leisure Centre Sustainability Review—commissioned by the sponsoring Committee for Education, Sport & Culture (CfESC) on behalf of the States of Guernsey
The review was designed to assess:
✔️ The Centre’s current operating model
✔️ Its financial and social value
✔️ Viable pathways toward a more sustainable future
Using a structured approach based on Sport England’s Strategic Outcomes Planning Guidance (SOPG), the team combined:
📊 Data analysis
🗣️ Stakeholder engagement
📈 Benchmarking
💡 Social Return on Investment (SROI) assessment
This included surveys with users and non-users, consultations, focus groups, and a strategic review to ensure alignment with the States of Guernsey’s Government Work Plan and Financial Investment Plan
The outcome? A clear, evidence-led foundation to guide decisions made in the final two stages of the review, about Beau Sejour’s role to support the Island’s long-term community, health and wellbeing resilience
We’re proud to support this clear commitment to shaping leisure, sports and cultural provision that’s inclusive, impactful, and future-ready🌍
