FMG worked alongside Accrington Stanley Community Trust and Accrington Stanley FC to develop a new sports hub.
FMG considered the level of demand for facilities through a needs assessment, undertook key stakeholder consultation, provided layout and concept plans and developed a facility mix for several options.
The study recommended a full size AGP, grass pitches, artificial cricket wicket and pavilion that included a café, changing rooms, coach education rooms and the Trust’s offices.
The facility is now open and operational as the Stanley Sports Hub.
